Week 2 – Vision

It is the first week, and we have standings!

 

Recap:

The cast will Marco Polo their weight Monday morning before 10 a.m. – you will put them into a weekly standing. To get the standings, you divide the amount of weight lost by their starting weight. This will give you a percentage; put them in order from highest percentage lost to lowest lost.

Standing Weight Formula: Divide the amount of lb lost by starting weight and multiply it by 100.

Example: Lost: 5lb

                   Starting weight: 200lb

 

                   5lb (lb lost)  / 200 (starting weight) = 0,025

                   0,025 x 100 = 2,5%

Hello, welcome we are just finishing week 1.

Our first week is done; we got your weigh-in; now let’s get to the standings.

 

1. Weight Standings 

  • Go through the standings from the bottom to the top.

In total we as a group in week 1, you lost ____________ pounds.  Awesome job!!

 

  • Celebrate the new weight decade that they are in. Eg. 182 lb, down 3lb = 179 lb, the new decade is 170!

 

2. Topic: Vision 

Tonight, we are talking about VISION.

  • This is a HUGE HUGE part of having success on any journey of success, and your Health is no different.
  • A man/woman without a vision will perish. 
  • Your vision is what helps you push through the hard times, the moments you want to quit, the moments you want to give up or give in.
  • Without a vision, you will give up when the going gets tough and when you get Frustrated.
  • When you have a powerful vision, it will propel you through anything. 

 

 To get your dream body, and your dream health – you first have to become that person in your brain/mind.

  • If you become that person in your mind, your body will follow most people who never get this.
  • This is why just diets don’t work.
  • If you change your behavior to lose weight but don’t change the way you think or see yourself, you will return to the way you were.
  • If you think or see yourself as a fluffy person, you will always go back to that.

 

Your vision is like a GPS – the coordinates for your success

  • A GPS helps you navigate your success.  
    • Imagine a GPS – it is a powerful device, but what happens to a GPS if you don’t enter a destination into it, it simply follows you around, it doesn’t tell you where to go.
    • But as soon as you put in the coordinates/your vision, it tells you where to go, the fastest route

 

3. Question for the Cast 

  • What is your vision for your health? Where do you want to be one year from today?!?!
  • If you knew you could not fail, what would your life look like in one year?

 

  • Let the cast go through all of them, spotlight the person who is talking, and you can comment if there is something you need to encourage or correct.

 

 

4. Motivation/Encouragement 

This is so incredibly powerful; start speaking to the person you want to become! 

  • Eliminate words like “I want to become…” with “I will……”
  • Most of the population prays and hopes for a vision; a powerful vision is created, not given.
  • What is your vision if someone gives you a vision for your life that is not as powerful?
  • You have to build it, create it, and water it.
  • Your vision doesn’t start BIG; it starts small, and as you water it, it will grow.
  • You have to work on it daily, weekly, and monthly; if you ever stop, so will your vision.

 

As we come into week 2, run everything by your vision.

  • Will this decision/action bring me closer to my goal or further away?
  • Remember, you can do hard things, change your life’s course, and take back control.
  • Stay strong. You will be tested, and old habits will try to wave at you and tempt you.
    • Use the group and your mentors, 
    • YOU ARE NOT IN THIS ALONE – TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER

  • Work on your vision:
    • Set time aside and put it on your calendar.
    • Recommended: have a vision notebook on your cell phone or as a heart copy. Put in pictures, notes, and motivations…..

  • Cheat reminder:
    • Document Cheats on Monday weigh-in.
    • Every 5lb = Cheat Item (not cheat meal, not cheat day, not cheat afternoon)
      • A Cheat Item is, for example, Grilled Chicken with Broccoli and chocolate Cake, Grilled Chicken and French Fries, or Fried Chicken and Broccoli. Eat well at dinner and go out and get ice cream.
      • If you go by calorie counting, add 300-500 calories as a cheat item.
    • Map out your Cheats. If your starting weight is 200lb, think of what you will have at 195lb.
    • The recommendation is not to the Cheat on Sunday night!
